Visitor Services

Creating a barrier-free environment

Our exhibition rooms are designed to have wheelchair accessible pathways.
All levels of the museum are accessible by elevator.
*Service dogs, trained to provide visual or hearing assistance, are welcome in the museum.

Wheelchairs and strollers are available free of charge.

The museum has wheelchairs and (5 ) strollers available for visitor use. Please ask for either one at the front information desk. Please note that we cannot take prior reservations for these, and the wheelchairs and strollers are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Free Audio Guides

音声ガイド

The museum loans out audio guides to the permanent exhibits at the Museum. These audio guides are avaialable in five languages: Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, and Spanish. To check out an audio device, please ask at the Media Library. Please note that we cannot take prior reservations, and audio guides are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Nursing room

Nursing mothers are welcome to use the nursing room located next to the ticket counter on the first floor.
This comfortable space includes two private nursing areas, each with a cushioned chair, small side table, and privacy curtain. The room is also equipped with electrical outlets, a changing table, a bench, and a hand washing station.

Free Wi-Fi

Free Wi-Fi is available within the Okinawa Prefectural Museum & Art Museum.
